CHEMICAL PROPERTY

The phrase "Chemical property" is context-dependent, but generally refers to the material's behaviour at ambient conditions (i.e. room temperature, 1 atmosphere pressure, oxygen-bearing atmosphere). This property becomes apparent during a chemical reaction, and can only be observed by changing a substance's chemical identity.

An ionic substance is a substance of 2 ions which are chemically bound together, they make this bond by the cation giving the anion electrons so they will have a full outer shell and they will be stable.
