King Soopers is a grocery store chain with a significant presence in the state of Colorado, on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. The store is named for its founder, Lloyd King.[1] King Soopers is owned by Kroger.

City Market

City Market is a grocery store chain with a significant presence in the state of Colorado, on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains. City Market has one store in Moab, Utah which is the only store in Utah. City Market is owned by Kroger. The Moab, Utah City market sold more alcohol and Big K gallon water then any other Kroger owned store in the western half of the United States in 2005.[2]
