PISIDIAN LANGUAGE

The Pisidian language is a member of the extinct Anatolian branch of the Indo-European language family spoken in Pisidia, known from some two dozen short inscriptions. It is probably closely related to the Lycian and Sidetic languages, but there appears to be some Phrygian influence so that the language may be a creole of Phrygian and indigenous Anatolian dialects.
